Refund policy

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store creditdifferent product, or a refund to the original payment method. 

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned
  • Returned items must be returned in the original packaging
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of use
  • You will be charged a restocking fee that will be taken out of your refund
  • We do not pay for the return shipping costs

 

To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@buildmodern.co
  2. Choose the products you wish to return or exchange from your order.
  3. Print the prepaid shipping label that you will receive by email (For US orders only).
  4. Send all items back to us using the label provided.

Once your order has been shipped, your order cannot be canceled. If your order is lost in transit or not delivered, you will be eligible for a full refund no questions asked. You have the option to cancel your order within 24 hours of your purchase. After this time frame, we unfortunately cannot cancel your order.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
